Chairman's Message

The socio-economic development of the country is mainly dependent upon the promotion of science and technology. The holding of symposia, conferences, seminars and workshops are the ideal settings for the promotion of science and technology. Advanced materials have always been an essential elements of the industry from its inception till date. During the last few decades, innovation in space science, defense technology and nuclear engineering as well as the development program for the mankind have put greater impetus on the production and utilization of advanced materials. In order to create awareness and understanding with regard to the emerging technologies and materials, the holding of symposia on the particular area of advanced materials is appreciable. The International Symposium on Advanced Materials (ISAM) is one of the oldest event in Pakistan for interaction between scientist, researchers, engineers and exhibitors around the world to share their ideas and views on the cutting-edge technologies of modern arena. The ISAM events are held in the beautiful city of Islamabad usually at the start of winter. I extend my invitation to all the scientific community of home and abroad to join and grace the events by their presence. PAMF is likely to ensure traditional hospitality arrange for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Islamabad. Looking forward to welcome you all in Islamabad. Islamabad has a beautiful landscape and surrounding tourists’ attractions. I wish if PAMF could arrange a tour, or two, for our overseas guests.
